Our History

Globomadera S.L. through its brand, Arde Pellet, was born from a private initiative, a little over a decade ago, with the aim of closing the circle of full use and recovery of wood by-products.

The company, Globomadera S.L. began its activity in 2011, being one of the first Spanish companies dedicated exclusively to the manufacture of wood pellets, Epal pallets, Charcoal, and other biomass substances. With a firm commitment to quality, it was also one of the first Spanish companies to obtain the EN PLUS A1 certification.

The year 2016 was a turning point since the company became part of the most important forestry and timber group in Germany, which has meant, on the one hand, a guarantee in the supply of the best quality raw material and, on the one hand, on the other, the implementation of an ambitious investment plan aimed at a comprehensive improvement of the factory.

Arde Pellets has a biomass cogeneration plant that produces practically all the energy consumed by the factory and, next year, it is planned to incorporate a photovoltaic plant. All this makes it an efficient industry from the energy point of view and respectful of the environment.
